Home Loan for Medical Professionals. The Dr Loan program is built to serve as a home loan for medical professionals, qualified doctorates. Beneficially, the program provides financial aid towards medical professionals who have accumulated student loans.  

In order to qualify, borrowers need to have a minimum 3% down payment, 700 credit score, and have a maximum of $850,000 loan amount. However, it is not required to have a minimum 2-year employment history if there is evidence of a contract for employment.  Additionally, 1-year self-employment history is allowed with prior industry experience.
